Baby’s balancing body
Although vital organs have developed and are fully functional now, minute details are still appearing like fingernails, peach-fuzz hair, etc. Arm joints, bones, and cartilage are still in the process of development.

\r\n\r\nThe head forms the major part of the body structure, with forehead bulging out temporarily. Since the brain of the baby has rapidly grown in the past few weeks, hence it’s normal. It will change gradually giving it the right human-like shape.

\r\n\r\nThe baby has become a prune’s size now. With a height of around 1.2 inches and weight less than 4 gm, you would be able to see a clear outline of the spine of your baby in the next ultrasound. It’s time the kidneys also move around to take their final positions in the fetus. You know what? Even the umbilical cord seems to have developed, binding you and your baby within strong ties of blood every passing day.

\r\n\r\nIt's little stomach has even started producing digestive juices and its kidneys are on overtime these days with flushing out extra quantities of urine.

\r\n\r\nAnd here’s one point, you must be missing out. The new kid on the block is swallowing and kicking you inside. Congratulations! Your first trimester is almost coming to an end. Hope you having a good time with your little partner inside.
