Apple Stops Signing iOS 10.1 and iOS 10.1.1, Downgrades and Restores No Longer Possible
Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.1 and iOS 10.1.1, meaning that downgrading or restoring to those firmware versions is no longer possible.Currently, Apple's latest firmware is iOS 10.2 and developers have been seeded with iOS 10.2.1As we reported earlier, developer Luca Todesco may be working on a jailbreak based on a kernel and root exploit released by Project Zero Team. Those exploits are only found in iOS 10.1.1 so hopefully you managed to get on that firmware version before the signing window closed. If a jailbreak is released, we will keep you up to date with the latest news and tutorials. Take care not to accidentally update to iOS 10.2 if you're planning to jailbreak your device.
