Gochujang Grilled Cheese with Peanut-Kale Salad
One of our all-time favorite condiments, Korean <i>gochujang</i> is spicy, salty, and rich, combining fermented soybeans with dried red chiles, garlic, and other seasonings. We've received so many rave reviews of the sauce that we're highlighting it front-and-center in these fusion grilled cheese sandwiches. Golden brown slices of sourdough bread are slathered with gochujang mayo, then piled with gooey Cheddar and Fontina. On the side, a crunchy and refreshing kale and green apple salad is tossed in our popular peanut vinaigrette.
