<i>Carne asada</i> is a Latin American staple of marinated and grilled steak. Here, Chef Michelle reimagined the dish as a burger, with the same flavorful sear on a juicy patty that's topped with melty Monterey Jack cheese, smashed avocado, and a roasted tomato and onion salsa. Classic potato fries are swapped out for yuca, a slightly sweet, starchy root vegetable that, when baked, gets a perfectly crisp exterior and a fluffy interior that's more than ideal for dipping in creamy garlic aioli.
