Budapest - LGBT in Budapest (history and now). short: After being born under dictatorship, fleeing to and from the church, to abroad and back, I found my home in Budapest, like in a family. Not perfect, but mine, and more open than I often expect.
My family fled from Ceausescu's Romania. I studied ministry in Budapest. My belief changed and I found out I can't pray the gay away.
I lived for 2 years in the Netherlands, worked in a kibbutz and on river cruise ships, until I anchored in Budapest for loves sake.
I finished schools for guiding and graphic design, and have worked as tour guide in Budapest since 2013, mostly on bike.
