Missy's Guidebook. I love hosting people at our horse farm in Oregon's Willamette Valley! Famous for its many award winning vineyards, the valley has SIX winegrowing regions called American Viticultural Areas (AVAs)! Each AVA is unique in its geography, climate, soil and topography. As luck would have it – our little horse farm developed right in the middle of all those AVAs! The Dundee Hills and Ribbon Ridge AVAs form the backdrop for our farm. And all six AVAs are minutes away! (Chehalem Mountains, Ribbon Ridge, Dundee Hills, Yamhill-Carlton, Eola-Amity Hills and McMinnville). Relax with the animals and the slower pace of the farm, and enjoy the sights and sounds - and especially the tastes - that the amazing Willamette Valley produces! I welcome you.
