Hello to the 5 P’s
Once your baby starts on solids, constipation may become a problem. If so, say hello to the 5 P’s - pears, peaches, plums, prunes, and peas. Then look at the toolbar on the bottom of your kidü app. Tap “My kidü.” Next tap “Mastermind,” where you can save anything kid-related you need to remember. Now look in the top right corner of your screen and tap the “+” sign, which will open a new note. Ready to write? Title: Go Foods Comments: -pears -peaches -plums -prunes -peas -oats -barley -apricots -spinach -diluted fruit juice (prune juice works like a charm) (Be sure to boil and mash hard foods so they won’t pose a choking hazard. Only serve bite-sized amounts) Category: Shopping List Hit the back button and tap “publish” in the top right corner of your note. Next time you’re at the grocery store, you’re all set to pick up at least a few of these items. Plus even if your kiddo isn’t constipated today, it’s not a bad idea to keep oats, barley and prunes on hand just in case.
