The Blue House, built in the 1920s, and its neighbours Yellow House and Orange House, make up a heritage cluster known as 'Viva Blue House' (We 嘩藍屋). The star of the lot, Blue House is a graceful four-storey tenement building featuring cast-iron Spanish balconies reminiscent of New Orleans. It is being restored and will reopen around mid-2017 with a dessert shop, a renovated osteopathy clinic, and toilets for its dozen residents. During its closure, House of Stories will relocate to Yellow House.
