Lau Pa Sat
Lau Pa Sat means 'Old Market' in Hokkien, which is appropriate since the handsome iron structure shipped out from Glasgow in 1894 remains intact. The real magic happens on the facing street, when Boon Tat St transforms into Satay Street, a KL-style sprawl of tables, beer-peddling aunties and smoky satay stalls.
