Wall Memorial ‘Parlament der Bäume'
Conceived by Berlin-based artist Ben Wagin in 1990, this environmental art installation is a quiet garden of remembrance for those who died at the Berlin Wall and stands on the spot of the original border strip. It consists not only of trees but also memorial stones, pictures, text and 58 original pieces of the border fortification which list the names of 258 victims.
