Located in a lovely Liberty building that once belonged to the railway, Cesare Battisti's neo-bistro turns out authentic Milanese flavours. Drawing his produce from Slow Food artisans, the menu offers up classics such as roasted pumpkin with robiola (soft cheese), risotto with turnip greens and crispy veal tongue with mash. There's a small bar, which locals mob at aperitivo (pre-dinner drink) time (6.30pm to 8pm).
